Arnico’s Xylene 90% – Methanol 10% Blend is an advanced industrial dual-solvent system, where the addition of methanol to xylene dramatically increases the polarity and cleaning power of the mixture. This powerful and economical solvent is specifically designed for removing polar greases, dewatering, and cleaning metal surfaces prior to painting, and has the ability to carry away water and ionic contamination.

5. Safety & Handling

MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet): This blend is highly flammable (low flash point due to methanol) and toxic. Methanol is absorbed through the skin and causes blindness. Vapor inhalation is extremely hazardous. The Arnico MSDS is mandatory.
Storage Conditions: Store in completely sealed containers with a moisture-proof breather valve, in a cool environment, away from sparks and direct sunlight. Equipment must be explosion-proof.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): The use of a full-face respirator with an AX filter, solvent-resistant gloves (like Viton or PVA), and anti-static clothing and shoes is mandatory when handling.
