Arnico’s White Spirit is a clear, colorless aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent with a mild petroleum odor, obtained from the distillation of selected light crude oil fractions. This mild and safe solvent is the gold standard for thinning architectural oil-based paints, cleaning brushes, industrial metal degreasing, and as a solvent in the formulation of adhesives, waxes, and polishes.

5. Safety & Handling

MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet): This liquid is flammable and an irritant. Its vapors are narcotic and toxic at high concentrations. The Arnico MSDS file must be obtained.

Storage Conditions: Store in sealed tanks with a breather valve, in a cool, dry environment, away from heat, direct light, and sparks.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Chemical-resistant gloves, safety goggles, and, if ventilation is insufficient, a respirator with an A-type filter are required.
