3. Features & Benefits
Granular Sulfur: Dust-free handling with excellent flowability, ideal for bulk blending into NPKS fertilizers and large-scale industrial consumption.
Micronized Sulfur: Extremely fine particle size ensures a high surface area for rapid sublimation, superior leaf adhesion, and maximum biological efficacy as a fungicide and miticide.
Bentonite Sulfur: A controlled-release sulfur fertilizer where bentonite swells upon soil contact, disintegrating the pastille into fine particles for rapid microbial oxidation to plant-available sulfate.
Alkaline Soil Amendment: Bentonite sulfur effectively lowers soil pH, improving the bioavailability of locked-up nutrients like Phosphorus, Iron, and Zinc in calcareous soils.
4. Industrial Applications
Chemical Industry: Feedstock for the production of sulfuric acid, carbon disulfide, and detergents.
Agriculture: Control of powdery mildew and mites in vineyards and orchards (Micronized); reclamation of sodic and alkaline soils (Bentonite).
Fertilizer Production: Manufacturing of Sulfur-Coated Urea (SCU) and NPK+S blends.
Rubber & Tire Industry: A primary vulcanizing agent to cross-link rubber polymers for improved elasticity and strength.
5. Safety & Handling
MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet): All grades are flammable solids. The full MSDS is available for download on the Arnico website.
Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area away from open flames, heat, and strong oxidizing agents.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): The use of a dust mask, chemical-resistant gloves, and safety goggles is mandatory when handling micronized powder.
6. Quality Assurance & COA
Arnico provides a detailed Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each sulfur compound, specifying purity, ash content, and particle size distribution. This guarantees product consistency for your specific application.
