Product Introduction & Main Application
Arnico Solvent 403 is a straight-cut, dearomatized aliphatic solvent with a boiling range approximately between 180°C and 210°C. It is characterized by its low odor, high purity, and controlled evaporation rate. This solvent is widely used as a diluent in architectural paints, a solvent in industrial degreasers, and a carrier oil in metalworking fluids where a balance of drying time and worker safety is required.

Controlled Drying Time: Evaporates slower than mineral turpentine but faster than mineral spirits, providing ideal leveling and wet-edge time for brush-applied paints.

Excellent Resin Compatibility: A compatible non-solvent for long-oil alkyds, allowing high dilution ratios without causing resin shock or precipitation.
Clean Burner Fluid: The low sulfur and high purity make it an excellent carrier for insecticide spraying and as a cleaner-burning lamp oil alternative.
Safe Flash Point: A flash point above 55°C improves storage safety and reduces the risk of ignition at ambient temperatures.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Use nitrile gloves and splash-proof goggles. In high-vapor environments, a respirator with an organic vapor cartridge is required.
