Arnico’s Solvent 402 is a clear, colorless aliphatic hydrocarbon solvent with a mild petroleum odor and a controlled distillation range (145-205°C), known in the industry as standard “White Spirit.” This versatile solvent is the gold standard for thinning oil-based and alkyd architectural paints, cleaning paint brushes and rollers, industrial metal degreasing, and as a base solvent in the formulation of adhesives, waxes, and polishes.
