1. Product Introduction & Main Application
Arnico’s Polystyrene (PS) is a transparent, hard, and glassy thermoplastic produced from the polymerization of styrene monomer and, depending on the production process and additives, is supplied in three main grades: General Purpose (GPPS), High-Impact (HIPS), and Expandable (EPS). This versatile polymer, due to its excellent optical clarity, easy processability, and economical price, is used in the production of disposable containers, household appliance bodies, building insulation, and toys.

5. Safety & Handling

MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet): The granules are safe. Toxic styrene vapors are released at processing temperatures. The Arnico MSDS file must be obtained.

Storage Conditions: Store in bags in a dry, cool warehouse, away from organic solvents.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Adequate ventilation in the production hall and gloves for hot material.
6. Quality Assurance & COA
Arnico PS shipments are accompanied by a specialized Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each grade, detailing MFI, impact strength, and clarity.
