1. Product Introduction & Main Application
Arnico’s Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE) is a transparent, flexible, low-density thermoplastic (0.91-0.93 g/cm³), produced from the high-pressure radical polymerization of ethylene in an autoclave or tubular reactor. With its softness, clarity, and excellent heat-sealability, this material is the primary raw material for producing various packaging films (plastic bags, shrink wrap), wire and cable sheathing, squeeze bottles, and blow-molded parts.

3. Features & Benefits
-
Excellent Flexibility & Toughness at Low Temperatures: Ideal for freezer bags and packaging films that do not become brittle in the cold.
-
High Optical Clarity (Film Grade): Creates packaging with an excellent view of the internal product.
-
Exceptional Processability in Blown Film: Excellent bubble stability and a uniform thickness distribution.
-
A Strong Electrical Insulator: The gold standard for jacketing low and medium voltage power cables.
4. Industrial Applications
-
Food & Industrial Packaging: Plastic bags, shrink and stretch film, and milk pouches.
-
Cables & Wires: Insulation and sheathing for power and telecommunications cables.
-
Bottles & Containers: Squeezable bottles (for mayonnaise, honey) and blow-molded parts.
-
Agriculture: Mulch and greenhouse films.
5. Safety & Handling
-
MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet): The granules are safe and non-toxic. Vapors are released at processing temperatures. The Arnico MSDS file must be obtained.
-
Storage Conditions: Store in 25kg bags, in a dry, cool warehouse, away from direct UV radiation.
-
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Gloves when handling hot material.
6. Quality Assurance & COA
Arnico LDPE shipments are accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis (COA) detailing the MFI, density, and optical properties (Haze)
