1. Product Introduction & Main Application
Arnico’s Expandable Polystyrene (EPS) is an ultra-light, closed-cell thermoplastic, supplied as small white spherical beads containing a blowing agent (pentane). With the application of steam, this material expands to up to 50 times its original volume and fuses into rigid, white insulation blocks. EPS is the gold standard for thermal and acoustic insulation in buildings, protective packaging for electronics and industrial goods, and the lightweight core of decorative structures.

5. Safety & Handling

MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet): Contains flammable pentane. The warehouse must be kept completely away from sparks. The Arnico MSDS is mandatory.

Storage Conditions: Store in a completely cool warehouse (below 20°C) with excellent ventilation to prevent the accumulation of heavy pentane gas. Warehouse windows must be open and at a low height.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Strictly prohibit smoking and the creation of sparks.
