Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel (EN590)

Diesel EN590

“The clean-burning diesel that powers modern Europe: ultra-low sulfur, maximum engine protection.” Arnico’s EN590 diesel is the premium, ultra-low sulfur automotive fuel engineered for the latest generation of high-performance, environmentally friendly diesel engines. With a high cetane number, it delivers a quieter, smoother, and more efficient combustion, while its maximum 10 ppm sulfur content ensures full compatibility with advanced emission control systems like DPFs and SCRs. It’s the gold standard for clean, powerful, and responsible road transport.
Description More

1. Product Introduction & Main Application

Arnico’s EN590 Diesel is a premium-quality diesel fuel conforming to the stringent European Union Euro 5/6 standard, designed for use in modern light and heavy-duty diesel vehicles, construction machinery, and advanced generators. This clean, high-cetane, Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) guarantees a smooth, quiet, and low-emission combustion, making it the gold standard for diesel fuel in global markets.

3. Features & Benefits

  • Ultra-Clean Fuel (ULSD): A sulfur content below 10 ppm makes it compatible with Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) and SCR systems on Euro 6 trucks, drastically reducing air pollution.

  • High Cetane Number & Smooth Combustion: Provides a fast, knock-free start to combustion, reducing engine wear and improving fuel efficiency.

  • Guaranteed Cold-Weather Performance: The winter grade, with flow improvers, prevents fuel filter clogging at sub-zero temperatures.

  • Injection Pump Protection: Its excellent lubricity prevents wear on the sensitive parts of high-pressure common-rail pumps.

4. Industrial Applications

  • Road Transport: The primary fuel for modern trucks, intercity buses, and diesel cargo vans.

  • Heavy Machinery: Fuel for loaders, excavators, cranes, and mining equipment.

  • Emergency Generators: Provides backup power for hospitals, data centers, and critical facilities.

  • Agriculture: Fuel for modern tractors, combine harvesters, and diesel irrigation pumps.

5. Safety & Handling

  • MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet): This substance is flammable and an irritant. Prolonged skin contact causes dryness and cracking. Vapor inhalation in confined spaces is dangerous. The complete MSDS is available from Arnico.

  • Storage Conditions: Store in clean, water- and sediment-free tanks, in a cool, well-ventilated environment, away from sources of ignition and heat. Long-term storage without antioxidants should be avoided.

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Fuel-resistant gloves, safety goggles, and workwear are mandatory during decanting and sampling.

6. Quality Assurance & COA

All Arnico EN590 shipments are accompanied by a Certificate of Quality (COQ) with valid laboratory results based on the EN 590:2022 standard.
