Product Introduction & Main Application
Arnico Emulsified Bitumen is an aqueous dispersion of bitumen droplets (1-10 microns) stabilized by chemical emulsifiers. Available in Cationic, Anionic, and Non-ionic forms, this liquid binder eliminates the need for heating before application. It is primarily used for cold-applied road construction techniques, including surface dressing (chip seal), tack coats, slurry seals, and cold asphalt mixtures, as well as industrial waterproofing.

5. Safety & Handling
MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet): This is a non-flammable, water-based product. The full MSDS is available upon request.
Storage Conditions: Store in closed containers between 10°C and 50°C. Protect from freezing, which will cause an irreversible breakdown of the emulsion.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Use safety goggles and acid-resistant gloves to prevent skin and eye irritation from the liquid emulsion.

Arnico Emulsified Bitumen is manufactured under a strict quality protocol based on ASTM D2397/D977. We provide a detailed Certificate of Analysis (COA) confirming bitumen content, particle charge, and breaking index for each delivery.
