1. Product Introduction & Main Application

Arnico’s Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) is a white crystalline powder of extremely high purity (99.9%+), produced from the air oxidation of para-xylene. This substance is the primary, high-value raw material for the production of Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET), which is used in the manufacture of polyester fibers (clothing and carpets) and clear beverage bottles (PET Bottle Grade).

5. Safety & Handling

MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet): This substance is non-toxic, but its dust can be a mechanical irritant. At high concentrations, it has a dust explosion potential. The Arnico MSDS file must be obtained.
Storage Conditions: Store in silos or big bags in a dry, clean warehouse, away from sparks and open flames. It does not absorb moisture.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): An N95 dust mask and safety goggles are required.

Arnico PTA shipments are accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis (COA) detailing the 4-CBA, p-TA, and color analyses
