3. Features & Benefits

  • Excellent Water Separation (Demulsibility): Rapid separation of ingressed water prevents emulsion formation and the loss of lubricity in sensitive bearings.

  • Anti-Wear & Anti-Rust Protection: The specialized R&O additive package protects bearings and gears from corrosion and wear.

  • Outstanding Oxidation Stability (TOST > 5000 hrs): Resistance to chemical degradation at high temperatures extends oil life to tens of thousands of hours.

  • Control System Compatibility: Consistent viscosity and fast response in hydraulic control circuits for turbine valves.

4. Industrial Applications

  • Thermal & Gas Power Plants: Lubrication and cooling of steam and gas turbine bearings.

  • Combined-Cycle Power Plants: Used in both gas turbines and steam generators.

  • Turbo-Compressors: Lubrication of large industrial air compressors.

  • Industrial Hydraulic Systems: A hydraulic fluid for precision presses and machinery.

5. Safety & Handling

  • MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet): Prolonged skin contact may cause irritation. Hot oil poses a burn hazard. The Arnico MSDS file must be obtained.

  • Storage Conditions: Store in clean, dry tanks, away from moisture, dust, and high heat. Contamination with water, grease, and engine oils must be strictly avoided.

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): When handling, the use of oil-resistant gloves and safety goggles is recommended.

6. Quality Assurance & COA

Arnico Turbine Oil T shipments are supplied with a complete Certificate of Analysis (COA) in accordance with ISO 8068 and DIN 51515 standards.
