1. Product Introduction & Main Application

Arnico’s Base Oil is a refined petroleum oil fraction used as the primary raw material (Base Stock) in the production of a vast array of automotive and industrial lubricants, greases, and engine oils. Supplied in API Group I, II, and III grades, this product dictates the final lubricant’s viscosity, oxidation stability, and viscosity index, playing a fundamental role in protecting engines and industrial machinery.

5. Safety & Handling

  • MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet): Prolonged skin contact may cause dryness and irritation. Oil mist and vapors are irritants at high concentrations. The Arnico MSDS file is available.

  • Storage Conditions: Store in sealed, clean, and dry tanks at ambient temperature (10°C to 40°C), away from moisture, direct sunlight, and oxidizing agents. Water ingress must be strictly prevented.

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): The use of oil-resistant gloves and safety goggles is recommended during handling.

6. Quality Assurance & COA

All Arnico Base Oil shipments are accompanied by a Certificate of Analysis (COA) detailing viscosity, viscosity index, and flash point.
