3. Features & Benefits

  • Broad-Spectrum & Rapid Disinfection: Instantaneous destruction of bacteria (E. coli), viruses, and fungi within seconds of contact.

  • Stable Formulation with Optimal pH: The water treatment grade features a precisely controlled alkalinity, minimizing chlorine decomposition and extending shelf life.

  • Powerful Whitening: Oxidizes colored and natural stains on cotton and linen fabrics without damaging the main textile structure.

  • Effective Deodorization: Eliminates unpleasant odors caused by sulfur and amine compounds in wastewater and industrial environments.

4. Industrial Applications

  • Water & Wastewater Treatment: Final disinfection of municipal drinking water, chlorination of swimming pools, and effluent sanitation at treatment plants.

  • Detergent & Hygiene Industry: The active ingredient in household bleaches, liquid descalers, and surface cleaners.

  • Food & Dairy Industry: Sanitizing tanks, pipelines, milk processing equipment, and washing vegetables (at permitted concentrations).

  • Textile Industry: The final bleaching agent for cotton and linen fabrics in the finishing process.

5. Safety & Handling

  • MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet): This material is corrosive, an oxidizer, and an irritant. On contact with acids, it liberates toxic chlorine gas. Please obtain the complete MSDS from Arnico.

  • Storage Conditions: Store in sealed, opaque, polyethylene containers in a cool (below 25°C), dark, and well-ventilated area. Direct sunlight and heat cause rapid decomposition.

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): When working with the 15% grade, the use of PVC gloves, chemical goggles, and a respirator with an acid gas filter is mandatory.

6. Quality Assurance & COA

All Arnico Javel Water shipments are supplied with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) detailing the exact active chlorine percentage, measured at the time of loading.

Technical documents for the product Javel Water including the Technical Data Sheet (TDS), Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), and Certificate of Analysis (COA), are available to customers upon request.
